Banding film
Bands made from high-quality film are extremely tear-resistant as the band has a load-bearing capacity of up to 30 kg. However, it can easily be torn open b hand along the welding seam. Depending on the requirements, films with different elasticity and tear resistance ca be used. Bands made of film can be printed according to your wishes just like bands made of paper: In advance with up to 10 low-migration colors for a maximum advertising effect by Branding with Banding or during banding with variable information by a thermal transfer printer - or both combined.

Material attributes
FSW is a silk-matt banding film made of 100% polypropylene (PP). FSW delivers an outstanding print image in flexographic printing. It is also very well suited for just-in-time printing using thermal transfer printing. The material is covering. FSW is 100% recyclable.
- Available in the widths 20 mm, 30 mm, 50 mm, 60 mm, 75 mm and 100 mm.
- Available in the film thicknesses 110 my, 125 my and 135 my.
- Can be printed with up to 12 colors using the flexographic printing process.
- Very suitable for embossed printing.
- FSW is not available as transparent foil.
- Suitable for banding machines with Ultra-Sonic technology.
- Especially well suited for Branding with Banding.

Material attributes
FTB is a transparent banding film made of 100% polypropylene (PP). The material is slightly stretchable. FTB provides a good print image in flexographic printing. It is also suitable for just-in-time printing using thermal transfer printing. FTB is 100% recyclable.
- Available in the widths 20 mm, 30 mm, 40 mm, 50 mm, 60 mm, 75 mm and 100 mm.
- Available in the film thicknesses 60 my, 90 my and 100 my.
- Can be printed with up to 10 colors in flexo printing process.
- Suitable for banding machines with Ultra-Sonic and Heatseal technology.
- Barcodes etc. remain machine-readable through the film.
- Especially suitable for hard products such as parquet, aluminium profiles, business cards etc.
- Also available as FTBW with an additional white layer.

FTN is an extremely tear-resistant, transparent banding film made of 100% polypropylene (PP). The weld at FTN has a pull strength of more than 30 kg. The slightly rough surface ensures a good grip on the product. FTN provides a good print image in flexographic printing. It is also well suited for just-in-time printing using thermal transfer printing. FTN is 100% recyclable.
- Available in the widths 15 mm, 20 mm, 30 mm, 50 mm, 60 mm, 75 mm and 100 mm.
- Available in the film thicknesses 100 my, 110 my, 125 my and 135 my.
- Can be printed with up to 10 colors using the flexographic printing process.
- Suitable for banding machines with Ultra-Sonic technology.
- Barcodes etc. remain machine-readable through the film.
- Especially suitable for industrial applications, postal packages, containers and multipacks.
- Also available as extra strong FTND (film thickness 180 my), FTNR (red transparent), FTNB (blue transparent), FTNG (yellow transparent) and FTNW (white matt)

FWG is an affordable, foamed banding film made of 100% polypropylene (PP). The foaming ensures an extremely low weight per unit area with high tear resistance. Due to its porous surface, FWG provides an average print image in flexographic printing. It is suitable for just-in-time printing using thermal transfer printing. FWG is 100% recyclable.
- Available in the widths 15 mm, 20 mm, 30 mm, 50 mm, 60 mm, 75 mm and 100 mm.
- Available in the film thicknesses 125 my, 170 my and 210 my.
- Can be printed with up to 10 colors using the flexographic printing process.
- Suitable for banding machines with Ultra-Sonic technology.
- Especially suitable for corrugated board stacks, Branding with Banding and for gift wrapping.
- Available in different colors.
- Also available as stretchable FWGS.

FTU is an extremely cost-effective, transparent banding film made of 100% polypropylene (PP). With a film thickness of 50 my FTU is the thinnest film in our range. FTU provides a good print image in flexographic printing. It is also well suited for just-in-time printing using thermal transfer printing. FTU is 100% recyclable.
- Available in the widths 20 mm, 30 mm, 50 mm and 60 mm.
- Available in the foil thickness 50 my.
- Can be printed with up to 12 colors in flexographic printing process.
- Only suitable for models from the US-2000 ADU series (e.g. US-2000 ADU-R)
- Especially suitable for medical needs and light products.

Material attributes
PLA is a transparent, biodegradable banding film made of polylactide. PLA provides an average print image in flexographic printing due to its slightly porous surface. It is suitable for just-in-time printing using thermal transfer printing. PLA belongs to the bioplastics. It is produced from renewable raw materials and is compostable according to DIN EN 13432.
- Available in various widths from 30 mm. On request.
- Available in various film thicknesses. On request.
- Can be printed with up to 12 colors in flexo printing process.

- Especially suitable for fruits and vegetables.

PEH is a cost-effective, highly transparent, high-gloss and extremely strong banding film made of 100% high density polyethylene (HDPE). PEH is not suitable for printing. PEH is 100% recyclable.
- Available in the widths 20 mm, 30 mm, 50 mm, 75 mm and 100 mm.
- Available in film thickness 85 my and 100 my.
- Suitable for banding machines with Ultra-Sonic technology.
- Suitable for all applications that require transparent bands.
